Springing Forward with Thoughts and Ideas About Exciting Technology
30 mars 2021 by NIO
NIO's US headquarters, located in Silicon Valley's heart, focus on advanced research and innovation in autonomous driving, artificial intelligence, firmware-over-the-air (FOTA) updates, and many other technologies that support them. We are humbled that the opportunity to work on such cutting-edge technology enables us to lend our voices to the many thoughts and ideas that make today's headlines.
Right around Saint Patrick's Day, we were lucky enough to be invited to lend our voices to the ongoing discussion about mobility and how it is being re-imagined. Ganesh V. Iyer, the managing director of the NIO-US headquarters and the global CIO, shared the virtual stage with Peter Campbell, Global Motor Industry Correspondent with the Financial Times, and others to discuss how automotive companies realize the electric future now. Samir Agrawal, senior director of intelligent hardware, spoke about full-autonomy and how NIO's conceptualization of Battery-as-a-Service through power swapping and our announced 150 kWh battery enable it.
The audience of the AI Accelerator Festival learned about NOMI, the world's first in-vehicle artificial intelligence, with a healthy discussion with industry luminaries like Baharak (Becky) Soltanian, Ph. And Sapna Todwal, a senior engineering technologist, shared her thoughts on the path to success with FOTA.
