NIO Named on 2024 FORTUNE CHINA ESG IMPACT LIST

On May 13th, FORTUNE China released 2024 FORTUNE CHINA ESG IMPACT LIST, and NIO successfully made the list. The list includes 101 companies, including 70 Chinese companies and 31 foreign companies in China. NIO is one of the three automotive companies on the list.

FORTUNE magazine is one of the most well-known business journals globally. 2024 FORTUNE CHINA ESG IMPACT LIST is FORTUNE China's third edition, covering new energy, manufacturing, internet, finance, and health and other fields. FORTUNE China said that the listed companies have made outstanding efforts in environmental improvement, employee protection, and community support, demonstrating sustainable and inclusive growth throughout economic cycles, and earning market respect.

FORTUNE China commented at the time of the release of the list: NIO all models are pure electric products with total mileage driven over 17 billion km and reduced the CO2 emissions over 1,100,000 tons compared with the same level of fuel vehicles.

As a leading smart EV company in the industry, NIO always adheres to the original aspiration of "Blue Sky Coming", committed to creating low-carbon products, actively taking low-carbon measures, and responding to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals with practical actions. In 2016, NIO joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). As a member of UNGC, NIO commits to ten principles of the Global Compact on human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. In 2023, NIO joined the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and was the first Chinese company to join in SBTi. In 2024, NIO has been listed in the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations List for two consecutive years by Corporate Knights, demonstrating its strong commitment to sustainability.

NIO attaches great importance to sustainable development and, with the concept of "Circular Drive", it firmly implements carbon footprint management throughout the entire product lifecycle, linking upstream and downstream partners in the value chain in the design, manufacturing, logistics, and delivery stages to create green, low-carbon smart electric vehicle products. At the same time, NIO focuses on environmental management and ecological protection. While minimizing the environmental impact of its own production and operations and those of its value chain, NIO collaborates with its users, communities, and other stakeholders to help protect ecological diversity through programs such as Clean Parks.
